Mudpies and Rainbows

I have had more compliments on this little fairy door, which magically appeared in our home overnight, recently, than on my entire newly decorated living room. Yes, a fairy moved in and her location is prime. Her name is Petunia and she made herself at home in our home and my children are trying desperately to catch a glimpse of her. So far, no luck, but she has written them letters and they are intrigued by her tiny little envelopes and her whimsical stories. Grace (7) and Kate (5) spend time lying down and watching the door waiting for signs of movement. They knock and wait; they leave little notes and gifts and most importantly they have told me more than once how excited they are that a fairy chose their home to settle in. I kid you not, when I say, this is the most adorable thing I have ever seen. (see below for proof of this fact)
