 I have a new favourite shop. Arktos Art is utterly fabulous. I am fully and completely addicted to scrolling through the items in their shop. These items are handmade in Greece and sell from the shop pictured below. It was so difficult to decide which items I wanted to showcase here because I love everything so much. The jewelry, the ceramics and the sculptures are calling to me. How will my bank account ever recover from discovering this shop? Do you think they'll be surprised if I show up to their shop in Greece asking for a job? Can you imagine spending your day surrounded by beautiful art like this? I missed my calling. Sophia, the lovely shop owner, sent us this pink vespa key organizer. I feel like a child with a new toy. Don't fret, though.  Meg at White Nest sent us two these gorgeous honeycomb pattern pillows. If honeycombs aren't the latest and greatest trend than they should be. I love them so much. I wonder if she would come decorate my house? I'll be needing the zebra print, too. I wonder what her house looks like? It has to be fabulous. Who loves, needs, breathes honeycombs?
 Hugs Kisses Mini is the sweetest (pun intended) shop! Check out these miniatures. I know it might be wildly inappropriate for a professional in her late thirties to wear scented cupcake earrings to work but I might have to do it. Who could resist? The only problem being, I will smell so great, I may have to fight off the swarm of children and a few colleagues. Okay, maybe I better just let Grace wear mine. This jewelry makes me smile.  Before I had children I considered myself naked if my nails were not painted. Oh, how things have changed. Painting my nails now, is a luxury.  Talk Rocket Go is one of the most physically accessible apps I have ever come across. Created by the folks at My Voice, this app is ideal for children and adults that need support to communicate. As a resource teacher I have had much experience with assistive technology devices that can be difficult to command and strip the users of the dignity they work so hard to maintain. Talk Rocket Go appeals to me both as a teacher of individuals with assistive technology needs and as the parent of a little girl with autism. Once you have purchased Talk Rocket Go you can sign up any number of your students or children as users. You can then access the accounts from home and update, plan or arrange the app to fit a particular student's/child's needs and the info will sync to the device. Do you know what this means for teachers? For students? For parents? For individual with communication deficits? This is a chance to communicate using an app so intuitive that, through time and use, it will become a voice for that person. Not a method of greeting or answering a simple question, but a true voice, specific to the user. You do NOT have to be considered non-verbal to use this app. Any visual learner with a communication deficit can benefit from the visual schedules that can be personalized with REAL PHOTOS! No more silly representations and stick people. It will be so much easier to generalize skills when the users can see the actual objects and places. But wait, there's more (I've always wanted to say that). There is a second app called Rocket Keys which is pretty ground-breaking, in my opinion. This is a keyboard, one that you can design to your specification (QWERTY no more, unless you're into QWERTY, and that's ok , too). This keyboard's word prediction (ideal to overcome spelling challenges) is based on Twitter. This is huge and let me tell you why: Twitter is arguably the most relevant social media platform in terms of current events. This allows the user to discuss relevant topics without searching in vain for the terms. This also ensures that the autocorrect contains current slang and is fluid and can change with the days events. Can you say brilliant?! To top it off, while there are a number of voice options available, you can also customize one for yourself or your child. Furthermore, the cursor on this keyboard is so adaptable it allows people to type with any part of the body. No finger needed; you can use your elbow or a stylus to customize what you want to say. I am truly a fan of a this company because they have developed a product that our community needs and they did it for the sake of the people who need it. This is not a company that saw a niche and filled it; this is a company who has employees with family members who use this program. These are good people that have tested and retested this app to make sure it is worthy of you and your family's needs.
 Have you heard of Kiwi Crates? I hadn't either, but now I am rightfully obsessed. My current infatuation is with their Summer Adventure Series. Each month in the summer you'll receive a crate of crafts and activities to do with your kids. Themes include, Camp Day, Beach Trip and Amusement Park. These are well made (seriously, no junk here), well thought out crafts and activities. The girls and I are having a blast with our kit. If you're like me, you'll scroll pinterest for hours looking for creative ways to entertain your children only to become frustrated when the outcome looks nothing like the intended. I know I might sound like a commercial, right now, which is my least favorite way to discuss a product I love, but I don't know any other way to tell you that a subscription to Kiwi Crates is worth your hard-earned money. Our conversation quickly moved onto the merits of wearing the same TMNT shirt for as many days as a tired Mama will allow and I could not get any more information from her.  Sturlesi Designs sent us this impossibly cool, handmade unicorn light. Really, you must check out this shop. Everything in it is so unique and gorgeous. A little touch of funny sold me on this Unicorn but I suspect I will own a few more pieces. Can you cope with that wine rack? I am desperate for it. This shop has ruined me. I love it so much. The bar has been set for décor in my home. And, while we are on that subject, did anyone see where my husband hid the AMEX? I also need that lighthouse for a bedside lamp. I have a feeling these are one of kind pieces so it will be a race to see who gets them first. (Just give me a little time to track down that AMEX).
 805 Seaside Studio is one of those legitimate shops. They don't source their products. They create them. I love the diversity in their work. Check out the gems and the prints transfers below. They sent me an equally gorgeous exotic hardwood clipboard like the one pictured here. I am officially the coolest cat at any meeting I attend. Relax, they send me a smaller version to send to you. I really don't want to part with it because it is the perfect size for my mom purse but you have been so good to me so I'll send it to one lucky follower.
