Lip Lap, the artistic geniuses behind the sofa-tray table below, have come up with something new. You know the tray-table right? It's like the super-chic version of a TV tray. It allows you set your snack or drink or both if you're fun like that on the chair or couch arm directly beside you. Now you get to feel even more grown up with their newly designed minimalist, solid-oak tea-light holder. And what's more, it's completely handmade from wood found in European forests. This modern gem is created by a father and son team in Estonia. These designers have high standards and their products are impeccably designed and produced. Happy Shopping!

You don't have to have a baby to adore these prints from ThembelinaArtStudio. In fact, my almost 8 year old is going to be surprised by this Star Wars Trio on her Birthday next month (I'll be featuring her again along with some other fabulous artists in April). I love these chic prints so much and I can't wait to see Miss Grace's face when she sees them on her wall. What's more, the artist is a work-at-home mom with five kids. Yes, you read that right; five. The fact that she gets anything done is impressive, but to create these gorgeous prints with five little ones beneath her feet is remarkable. Show this busy and talented mom some love and visit her shop. Of course, there is a little something for you as well. Like and Share this post on Facebook (let me know in the comments) and you'll be entered to win up to four prints in one of two sizes. I personally find that to be an extremely generous giveaway from this busy mom. I can't wait to see who wins and what they choose! Happy Shopping! Like any mom I love Lego. It keeps the kids really busy and allows us to get the important things done, like reading with a glass of wine or watching House of Cards. In fact, just this weekend I gave the girls the Lego sets that Netflix sent to us (because I'm fortunate enough to be on their #StreamTeam of writers) and they played with those sets for the whole afternoon. We may have even skipped a meal, but I wasn't complaining because I think I fit in two episodes of Supernatural and had an uninterrupted shower before they even looked up! I'm sure it's great for their fine motor development and creativity, too, but that's beside the point. Lego Friends and Lego Bionicle have made my March. Netflix launched these two new shows just as my bank account decided it would refuse to purchase any more Lego (that stuff is pricey!). The kids can now get their fix for FREE! And I can spend all the money I will save on the good wine, the wine that comes in a bottle. Sure, they love building still, but watching their favourite little characters go on adventures is filling the Lego void and if I'm quiet enough I can sneak in a chapter/episode/glass or two before they even notice I've left the room. Seriously, tell your friends. Lego is your quickest way to a break you very much deserve! Happy Streaming! |
