![]() Flip Flop Faces by Discovery Toys promises to be lots of fun while working on gross-motor skills and facial expression recognition. Score points by landing a bean bag in one of the bowls or by flipping it to reveal one of the faces. I set up the game in our living room and let the girls go to town. Kate is working on the emotions happy and sad at the moment and she was immediately drawn to these two faces. Our goal was to get the beanbags in the bowls and flip them over. We would move closer and closer until we were successful. Once we flipped a bowl over the girls had to name the emotion they saw and show me that emotion with their own face. Grace, of course, had no trouble with this but Kate struggled a little. It was a good opportunity for Kate to work on immitation with me. The girls had a great time playing the game and I would definitly recommend it for any home and most certainly a daycare or a classroom. I hope to sneak mine into school when the girls are not looking. If you are interested in ordering this product click here. For the record, I do these reviews to compile a list of excellent and effective toys and services to help parents, therapist and educators. I am not charging money or selling something. This picture is a little bit fuzzy but the girls were having so much fun I could not get them to stay still for a second.
