These are sitting on my mantle right now. Jealous? Well, no need for that, because I am going to share, as usual. It hurts me to part with them but when I find something so utterly beautiful I have to spread the word. I am going to put cattails in them before I present them to the winner.

Maybe it's because he chose to pose with his dog in the profile picture for his shop or maybe it's because I can't get enough of his work, or maybe it is some combination of both. Either way Brian from BDJ Craft Works has just taken over the top spot in my heart for artists.

I am head over heels for these walnut vases with a touch of color. I almost never talk about price when I feature a product but I can't understand how my pal Brian can charge so little for handcrafted petit walnut vases. I'm convinced that he is so gloriously happy spending the Fall in Colorado that he's lost a bit of his mind. Seriously, $30 will get you the most thoughtful and gorgeous gift for anyone on your list.
