Autism Enabled and Visual Stimulation

Sometimes we are contacted by a company that is keen to have us try a product because they sincerely believe that it might be beneficial for Kate. Most times, these lovely people are right, because a sensory kid is a sensory kid. Autism Enabled took the time to read about Kate and gave us our choice of items from their entire line! Can you believe that? If you browse their shop you'll see they have everything you could ever imagine and it was difficult to narrow it down. 

​Ultimately, we chose the Lighted Musical Butterfly for Visual Stimulation because like I said, a sensory kid is a sensory kid, Kate and I have spent hours laying in the dark and listening to the soft music and watching the glowing lights from her "Butterfly Machine", as she calls it. She is calmer and happier after our time and you know what, so am I!

Visual stimulation is very appealing to Kate, because like most with autism, she is extremely visual in nature. If we are lucky enough to continue our relationship with autism enabled we'll have access to sensory-motor tools that we could only dream about.
