You simply cannot know what this means to me.
Tasarim Takarim took drawings by little Miss Kate and Big Sister Grace and turned them into gorgeous sterling silver necklaces.
The girls drew pictures of each other, which was enough to make me cry, but seeing them forever preserved in sterling silver broke me in the best possible way. I guess I was due for that cry.
We've all saved precious art work made by our kids, and sometimes we even find the time to frame the mini masterpieces, but to have this gorgeous jewelry to wear every day means the world to me.
Grace's detailed picture of her sister with the pigtails we hope she'll wear someday and her sweet candy decorated dress.
Kate's little picture of her big sister. A picture where she worked so hard to make the pencil do what she wanted because the fine-motor stuff isn't easy.
I'll wear them every single day. I'll wear them until my girls are old enough to wear them themselves.
I am in love.
Please share with me drawings you might turn into jewelry. I'd love to have a look.

Happy Valentine's day Eve Lovers. If you're feeling bitter about Love today, maybe you should treat yourself. Or rather, let me treat you.
Romica Jewelry is giving away this gorgeous Sterling Heart Ring, and I want YOU to have it. Here's how this is going to work. Simply comment below the name of the worst boyfriend you've ever had. Ha, if you simply can't name him publicly because for some reason you allow him to follow you on social media, you can write "Chad" and we'll catch your drift.
It's not that I don't love the idea of Valentine's Day and true love and all that shit, but I'm thinking this year we should celebrate by rejoicing that we no longer spend time or energy on the "chads" in our lives.
Now, not everyone can win, so in the meantime spend some time browsing some of the great pieces Romica Jewelry has to offer, and remember, YOU DON'T NEED ANYONE to buy it for you! Get yours!
The winnner will chosen at random and announced in the comments section of this blog within twenty-four hours of this post. YOU MUST come back to the post to see if you've won.
It's Giveaway time, again. It really is my favorite thing to do. I feel so very grateful that so many artists and crafters see fit to send us samples of their artwork and I especially love to pass them on to you.
Sutton Smithworks is our latest partner and as I type this feature I am gazing down at the missing piece sterling silver heart ring you see featured here. (I hope you don't mind.
