I don't think I've thanked you in awhile. There are almost 10,000 of you checking in on our little family each week. For whatever reason, you keep coming back and I love you for it. You've made everything about this easier. 

I don't think I'm near as kind as many of you. I mean, I think I'm an alright person. I've never committed a crime, on purpose. I'm pretty sure I've never bullied or persecuted anyone. I love animals, especially the three-legged kind and though I'm unlikely to share the last piece of cake, I'd give you my last cent if you needed it. Having said that, I have never gone out of my way to do a kind act like so many of you have done for us. 

Ever since I started this blog in November 2012, we have been consistently showered with kind words, encouragement and support. We've received letters and gifts (some very extravagant and some so heart-wrenchingly meaningful) for our girls from people whose only motivation was to make them smile. These people, all strangers for the most part, will never see their excited faces or understand how grateful these tired parents can be and yet, they do it anyway. 

You have inspired me. I'm going to try to be better, do better.
