Have you read Elan Mastai's All Our Wrong Todays?
When the kind folks at Penguin sent this novel to me for review, I wasn't sure what to expect but when I read the words '"Black Mirror" meets "Altered Carbon"', I was in.
I read it in a weekend, as one does, with just enough negligence of household duties to make it ideal.
You know, sometimes I want to be a writer, and then I read an author's debut like this, and I think, nah, I'll stick to what I'm good at. I'm just still trying to figure that out. :)
National Service Dog Oakley was treated to the subscription box pupjoy this week and I think you can imagine how pleased he was. His favorite treat, inside the giant box of FULL SIZE items was the bone pictured here, which we filled with peanut butter and treats from the box. Now just look at that good boy waiting for his command to go to town on that bone. Fear not, I gave him the go ahead as soon as I snapped this picture and he savoured every last second of his treat.
We are definitely huge fans of pupjoy (and so is Oakley). He's one of the most important parts of our family and he deserves a monthly surprise. If you're considering treating your pal check out our friends at pupjoy first.
LaPapierre is the perfect spot for stationery addicts like me. Check out their Etsy shop for a quick fix or spread out that gratification with their stationery subscription.
I just adore these designs. The folks at La Papierre have my heart with their sweet Llama stationery and don't get me started with the Harry Potter line!

We all took our favorites and agreed to share the rest. I had to have the washi tape, of course. Grace needed those socks and Kate couldn't put down the sweet Panda.
And it's giveaway time. See details below!

The Bullymake Box is an incredible box of high-end treats and toys for dogs that make mincemeat of traditional toys. Our 90lb service dog laughs in the face of most store-bought chewing toys. The rugged toys in our January Bullymake Box stopped him in his tracks. Those powerful jaws got a great workout and it was refreshing to see a dog toy last through a chewing session.
Do you have a power chewer in your life? There really is no other choice. Get the Bullymake subscription box here.
Yume Twins is the cutest subscription box out there. The sweet Kawaii inspired toys were a huge hit at my house. The little rabbit might be the sweetest stuffy we've seen and trust me, we have a large collection from which to compare.
The box is packed full of goodies and it was an absolute pleasure to watch my girls unbox this one.
This is an affordable way to treat someone to a sweet Kawaii surprise each month.
The Sweets Box is a subscription box of candy; full-size, brand-name candy! I have checked the price and I honestly cannot understand how they make a profit, but who am I to question someone who is willing to send us candy in the mail. Of course, I let my girls do the unboxing and they immediately claimed their goods.
There was just one thing I could not let go, even to my own kids. There was a giant bag of the sweetest and funniest Sloth candy you have ever seen. As if I wasn't going to spend some quality Netflix time with that bag.
A mom like you.
