![]() I really don't even have to write about this shop. The pictures really tell the story of how cool they are. The Loose Goose makes hand stamped silver wear. These are just a few of my favourites. With the turn in the air (I know you feel it, too), Fall is quickly approaching and I am beginning to think of my favourite kind of weather. Sweater weather is better weather, after all. Am I right?! Some of you diehards are still clinging to the last days of summer but I have moved on and I am even planning for Halloween. That is where these spoons come in. Even though I think it would be exceptionally funny to serve your spouse or your boss a meal with any of these spoons, they are really more appropriately used around the holiday. Worry not, if your tastes don't run towards the macabre, like me, then you can check out her this or this, or these. I'll stick to the dark side. Would you like one of these spoons? Of course, you would. 'Like' this post on Facebook or comment below to be entered.

![]() I'm only happy when it rains. While this is a bit of an exaggeration it bears some truth because I never feel more at ease than when the skies open up and and hammer us with rain. Which is why, when I spotted the shop Huiyitan, I fell immediately in love with that stormy little gem of a ring below. I could have asked for the sweet bunny necklace or the delicate snowflake but I know my followers and you are a lot like me. Would you like a matching ring to my own? That way we can have a little touch of rain even on the sunniest of days. Please 'like' this post on Facebook or comment below to be entered. Good Luck! ![]() If you're reading this blog you likely love a child that could use some of the products from Fun and Function. With so many items for sensory play, communication and calm and focus, you'll be hard pressed to find a website with more options for your child's needs. You've heard of brain breaks, right? If you're a teacher you probably used them regularly. Fun and function offers an entire Break Box. You can even customize it with tools specific to your child's or your students' needs. I have one for my classroom that contains everything from noise cancelling headphones to theraputty. If a child becomes over or underwhelmed there is something in this box to help them regulate their system. It is a crucial tool for my classroom and my home. If you're not ready for the whole box then browse and choose what works best for you. I'm partial to the crash mats myself but have a look and see what you like. I can be cranky. Did you know that? Sure, you did. Well, "Boo to everyone" is all I can come up with at times and for that reason I adore West Art and Glass and their creations. You'd think a wannabe write like myself would go for the literary coasters but I don't want to be a poser. Unless those coasters have passages from the latest Vanity Fair I won't be able to relate because it's the only thing I have time to read lately. Enough about me and how I am becoming increasingly more melancholy and illiterate. Let's talk about this shop and their gorgeous, brightly coloured, stylish glass work. Would you like to have those cycle coasters? 'Like' this post on Facebook or comment below to be entered. ![]() Storage, storage, storage. Ask any mom what she wants more of and after she says sleep, she'll say storage! No matter how many times I clean out the kids rooms or the junk drawer(s), I cannot, for the life of me, organize the clutter. Cincinnati Quilter has a very attractive solution for all those little things that seem to find their way under foot. I don't plan on sharing my with the kids so they find another place to store tiny lego pieces. I'm going to use mine to store the make-up I never have time or energy to apply. Hey, but at least it will be organized. What would you do with yours? ![]() Sometimes when you wake up in the morning it can be difficult to turn on the charm. Sometimes I growl all the way to work. After all, life can be a grind sometimes. Love in a Mug would like to add a little dose of happy to that grind with their sweet and witty ceramics. I've already shared those cat dishes with a cat worthy of such finery but the Grandma mug needs to find a home with a lovely Grandma who might like to take her tea in it. I'm partial to the "punch today in the face" mug, but that's just me. Some of their pieces are even decorated with real gold and platinum. Yes, I'd love to have a table full of their designs but it isn't their ceramics that drew me in. (Although, they are certainly keeping me around) It was their hilarious pot holders. Kina Ceramic Design just made sure your kitchen is no longer boring. Want to smile every single time you cook supper? Me too. I'd suggest you buy these as Christmas gift for someone but we both know you want them for yourself. Go ahead, treat yourself. See below for your chance to win! ![]() Ok, I am a teacher, so I have more experience with chalk than some but these chalk drawings are amazing. Do you know how hard it is to write in a straight line with a piece of chalk; let alone create artwork? The White Lime has one talented artist at the helm. Shannon uses nothing but chalk and a chalkboard to create her designs. Sure, you could order some computer generated print about the merits of coffee or wine but that's not very cool is it? Better yet, find a real person, like Shannon, and order her prints because they real and you're supporting a real person. I have a couple 5X7's to give away to like this post on Facebook or comment below to be entered. Seriously, next time you are in your child's classroom, try writing your name. It's not a easy as it looks! I think I have an idea for our next craft night! |
