Le Chien Noir Jewelry is OOAK. Do you know what that means? I didn't either but now I look for those four little letters when I shop because it means something to me. OOAK = One of a Kind. All the jewelry in this shop is OOAK. I have a gorgeous bracelet and earrings similar to the silver links below to give away to one lucky follower. I love the shop owner's story, too. You can read it here. It is so great that she is doing what she loves. I want you to know I turn down as many products as I accept and I do this because if it does't speak to me or if I don't think it will speak to you I am not interested. I need there to be a story behind what I feature here. I need to connect in some way to the shop or the product. I very much connected with these designs. Please like this post on Facebook or comment below for a chance to win this bracelet and earrings set. This contest will close in twenty-four hours because if I stare at this jewelry too long I will want to keep it for myself!

Oh, sweet, sweet snail mail. What a treat to open the mailbox and have a special gift or letter inside. The Petit Cadeaux can provide both. This little mom-run shop specializes in thoughtful gifting. Isn't that a nice concept? Thoughtful gifting. My favourite item in this shop is the subscription to snail mail. A close second, is those lovely hand embroidered bags that can be used to give gifts or, even better, for a countdown to a special day. I've already decided what would go in the countdown bags. For Grace a new book each day. She would love that. My little bookworm. For Kate, a tiny toy animal each day, so she can add to her collection. What would you add for your children? See that shirt with the hammerhead riding the bicycle? It's genius, isn't it? Kate is wearing it right now. Dark Cycle Clothing sent it to us. Obviously, we were happy to give it to Kate but we all want one in our size now, too. I do think the hammerhead might be the coolest shirt I've ever seen but I wouldn't say no to this one or this one, either. These tees are hand screen printed. So, that means that, every single shirt that is made is created by a person and not a machine. That kind of thing should matter more. Companies like this make it matter more. Do you have a little person in your life that would love the Great White riding on a bicycle tee? If so, like this post on Facebook or comment below to be entered. Thanks to the artist at Modish Metal Art, now you can. There is absolutely no excuse to have the ugly factory made beige doorbell anymore. You know I love art. You know I try and fit it in my life anywhere I can. Now, I finally have some outdoor art and I adore it. The artist is phenomenal and a fellow Canadian so I think she's kinda great. You should know that these are high-end items. The packaging is lovely and the workmanship is top drawer. These should be considered fine art and treated as such. Wouldn't these make lovely gifts for the person that has everything? Do you want one? I know you do! I have one for you. It's that little owl below and he wants to live with you. This little shop caught my eye because they are brand new and just getting their feet under them. All Things Chakra makes and sells these Buddha candles and let me tell you these pictures do not do them justice. They are so beautiful and bright and there is no way I am ever going to burn mine! Wait, is that bad luck? Oh well, I added it to my Buddha collection and it makes me smile every time I glance at the mantle. Would you like one? I, of course, have one for you. The kind owner of the shop sent two. Not to worry, though. If you don't win the one I have to giveaway you have your very own for a few bucks and then we can not burn them together. Sound like a plan? Like this post on Facebook or comment below for a chance to win the Buddha that matches my own. Good Luck!
