People are just so clever, sometimes. The artist at Paperwolf's Shop designs these original paper sculptures! His name is Wolfram and I am totally smitten with his brain and his name. Faux taxidermy is all the rage at the moment and most unaffordable so here is a more creative way to have fun with your walls. I originally inquired because I wanted the finished product for Miss Kate's room but I was quickly informed that these do not come assembled. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! I married an engineer so between the two of we'll should be able to get this done. Who thinks they are up to the task? If you win this I want proof that you complete it! I am going to offer you the fox as a prize because the bear wants to stay with me. Like this post for a chance to win. This contest closes in twenty four hours. Good Luck!

When I showed up at work today wearing a necklace created by a 3D printer my cool factor went sky high (well as high as a teacher's cool factor could ever really be). The folks at Creative Use of Tech make all kinds of cool things that I really have no business owning. Their laser cut wooden jewellery and mobile phones cases are so creative and unique. I have some gorgeous jewellery and a journal you can fill with all your genius ideas and I want to give them to you. This company is too cool for a boring old 'like' this post for a chance to win contest, so.... to be entered to win in this giveaway just finish this sentence with six words or less.: The facts were these... Not only are the photos of her products gorgeous so is everything in this little shop. My Live Love makes these little fabric phone wallets with rhinestones that kill me. I am a bit of sucker for screen printed anything, but these just seem to be exceptionally creative and they are necessary for me because I can never find my phone in my purse and now it stands out and I can grab it easily. My phone is also protected from the odd time I spill an entire yogurt in my purse or a handful of cheerios find their way in there. Do you need phone protection, too? 'Like' this post on Facebook and maybe you'll win one. I am obsessed. Did you know you can get giant rugs printed at Paper Bella Prints in any one of their fabulous prints. I needed the silverware one for my house but maybe you would choose something different. How do you feel about this one for a child's room, or this one for your entry way, and I know you love this one for directly under your feet as you perk your coffee in the morning. You can also get these vintage illustrations as wall hangings. In fact, I have this one to give away. Please like this post on Facebook for a chance to win. This contest closes in twenty-four hours. Good Luck! I am starting to wonder if my Kate comes by her perseverative ways honestly. Here I am, again with the hearts. I can't help it. I'm drawn to them. You'd think I would be a Sally Sunshine but I assure you I prefer the rain. WaveHunter makes these sweet tees and I knew I needed one. The text: "Are We on the Same Wavelength?" speaks to me, too. I must wonder this at least once a day, which then makes me wonder: "Am I the strange one?" Don't answer that. Just check out this shop and enjoy. Oh, and yes, I have one for you, too. It's a size small but it looks like a generous small. Please like this post on Facebook for a chance to win. Good Luck! What do you think? Aren't these masks and tails wonderful? Maybe I am not crafty enough to make my children's halloween costumes but I can sure as hell order a finely made one from Hunting Faeries. While we wait for Halloween, I will be using them in my classroom for reader's theatre and in my home for pretend play. I really don't want to give one away but in the interest of being fair and adhering to the deal I struck I will offer one to the first person who can answer this riddle: Riddle: Sum Sam and Product Pete are in class when their teacher gives Sam the Sum of two numbers and Pete the product of the same two numbers (these numbers are greater than or equal to 2). They must figure out the two numbers. Sam: I don't know what the numbers are Pete. Pete: I knew you didn't know the numbers... But neither do I. Sam: In that case, I do know the numbers. What are the numbers? Hahaha, just kidding. Nobody told you there would be math, right? Just like this post on Facebook or comment below for a chance to win. Good Luck! I guess if you're reading this and I am going to your wedding this summer your wedding gift is no longer a surprise. You probably have more on your mind than my particular gift to you, but either way, here it is.. and I just had to share these other wonderful gifts from Bliss Bridal Gifts. As you may know, I am fond of hearts so of course the heart design with the map of where you met drew me straight to her shop and I spent an evening browsing all of her lovely designs. I don't know why I keep wondering why the laundry is piling up and the sink is full. I can't stop exploring these excellent shops. (Okay fine, my husband does the laundry, but then there is really no excuse for it to be piling up, is there?) Do you have a wedding to attend this summer? A personalized gift like this is so unique. When the gravy boats (I had to google 'gravy boat' because I wasn't exactly sure what it was. Okay, fine, my husband does the cooking, too) and the punch bowls are long forgotten, your gift will still be front in center in their home. I am a sucker for the muted colors and the vintage look of these sweet cosmetic cases from Two Little Ants. They are hand sewn and designed with hand stamped patterns. I have a few to give away of course, but first I want to know what you would put in it. The contents of mine are: One lip gloss, one chapstick, a blue barbie shoe, a dime and three teenage mutant ninja turtle band-aids. Comment below or share on Facebook a few of the items that are in your make-up bag right now for a chance to win. No cheating! Fancy aren't I? I have my own monogramed stationary. You might think it would have a capital 'B' on it because that is how I often feel but Steel Petal Press was kind enough to stamp them with an 'S' for me. Oh, the damage I could do with a letterpress of my own. I'm not sure I would be as kind as the artist Shayna, is with hers. You might receive some pretty questionable material in the mail from me. My first letter shall be to the New Yorker. I'll be asking for a job. My second letter shall be to Jay-Z. I'll be asking for an invite to his house to meet Bey and the baby. Who would you write to? Comment below. Don't pretend it would be the President or the Dalai Lama, either. Aren't these necklaces adorable? Simple and classic. I just love them. I haven't taken my necklace off since I received it. It's a delicate gold bar engraved with the girls' names from Layered and Long. It's a beautiful piece on its own but with the added tough of personalization it becomes a very special piece in my jewelry collection. Now, I am getting to know my followers pretty well and they do love a fine piece of jewelry so I know this giveaway is going to go over well. Just to make it interesting I am going to take the advice of one of you. Please tell me why you want your own personalized necklace from Layered and Long and we'll let the 'likes' do the talking. Whomever has the most likes on their comment will receive the prize. This contest will close at noon tomorrow. Good Luck! |
