How about a gorgeous handmade infinity scarf all the way from Turkey? Yes, I think I will. The artist had me at the cat pattern but the handmade touch and the exotic location of her shop didn't hurt. I usually never talk about price when I do a product review because you know, if you have to ask...Kidding, I always have to ask! Anyway, the prices on these beautiful infinity scarves are extremely reasonable. I need this one and this one and I think I better get this one, too. Which is your favorite? If you're like me and this cat pattern infinity scarf pictured does it for you then please send a 'like' our way and you'll be entered into our contest to win it. If you don't win, worry not because you're going to get 15% off your purchase anyway, with the coupon code GOTEAMKATE15. Happy Shopping.

I am telling you right now that this picture does NOT do this thing justice. The industrial metal against the dark stained wood is so sleek looking and modern. As soon as I opened the box I asked Alex to go directly to the hardware store because I wanted it hung up immediately, so I could admire it. The artist ModShopGirl is my new obsession. I need this and this and this, most of all. I really can't see me coming out ahead on this one. Her work just really appeals to me. I wonder if she makes furniture? I can actually hear Alex hiding is Amex as I type this. Do you want to know the best part? She sent one for you, too. By now, you aren't surprised that I won't agree to a review without a little something for you, but this one is pretty special. The little touch of pea green as a dry erase board kills me and it took all of my strength not to keep them both. Seriously, I ran through a couple of scenarios in my head to see if I could find a way to keep them. Anyway, shame on me and lucky for you I am a terrible liar. I have to make this a tough one because this gem needs to be worked for. So, I am going to ask for a 'like' and a comment of six words or less as to why you need this like I do. I think I will ask Alex to pick the winner this time since he is honest to a fault. Direct your comments to him and if you want to get on his good side, he likes sailing and soccer. How do they do it? These paper artists are so impressive. I love this new paper garland trend. The fire marshal is not going to be impressed with my classroom next year. I am going to be stringing these up all over the place! I just love them. Younghearstlove sent them to us and I am having a hard time giving them away. I will, though, because you guys are so loyal and I get such a kick out of giving you prizes. I walked out of the post office yesterday with a lighter wallet but a happy heart because I can't wait until you get your little gifts in the mail. These will be pretty easy to pop in the mail, too, so who wants some? When they arrived yesterday, I was pretty excited because they came all the way from South Africa. Claire, the talented artist that created them sent me enough for you, too. You know what to do. Why do I keep doing this to myself? I can't cope with being surrounded by this gourmet chocolate. The Sweet Shop, a lovely Canadian based chocolate company, sent us two luxury baskets full of their chocolate and get this, they make everything the old fashioned way. They make it in their kitchen in cooper pots and work it on marble tables. Can you imagine just how exquisite this tastes? Well, I don't have to imagine because I have just indulged, a little, and blown up my weight watchers calculator while I was at it. Now, before I go back for more I must rid my house of temptation by passing on the rest of these luxury baskets to you. I only have one complaint when it comes to The Sweet Shop and it is this; how do they expect me to go back to eating store bought chocolate? I am ruined. Who wants to share in my misery? A simple like on Facebook will do the trick. I will be choosing the winner in two short hours from now because that is the longest I can hold onto these sweet treats without...well you know...it won't be pretty. The Idea Box is such a clever product. Inside you'll find thirty wooden disks, double-sided with activities and ideas to keep children busy with meaningful activities. Summer time is coming and you'll need to prepare yourself for the I'm bored's and the I have nothing to do's. This little box of ideas will keep them busy or keep them quiet, depending on how you look at it. The ideas inside the box are child-lead and play-based; two of my very favorite phrases. Are you with me? The shop also makes many more idea boxes for your every quiet time need. I am particularly fond of the Airplane Box, and I will be investing in this before our next trip. The creator was kind enough to send me The Chore Box pictured and The Teacher Box (K-2). Who wants one? You know the drill. Like the Facebook post and I will enter your name into a draw to be drawn by someone other than myself before the end of the day. I do love a proper drinking glass. Short glass, no ice, no lime. The glass should be heavy and unique in some way. I finally found it. These handblown, low ball glasses are meant for orange juice. I'll give you a second to giggle. Of course, you can drink juice from them if you wish. Who am I to judge. Now, Kim at Kettenglied, the artist that made these, without a mold I might add, was kind enough to send a few our way and I am kind enough to share the wealth. She makes gorgeous jewellery as well but you'll have to check out her shop to see that. I have two beautiful blue and white glasses to share with someone. Like this post on Facebook and you'll be entered to win. I am not going to make you jump through hoops this time. I can't make any promises about the next one. We have a new look here at GoTeamKate and it is all thanks to Mandy at Style Me Sweet. She created this logo for us and we love it. Now, I know you might be thinking that it might make more sense if the little graphic of Kate had her in full ninja gear and holding a sword instead of balloons but we felt that Miss Kate is not a lover of all things superhero and ninja but simply a lover of all things. In fact, she adores this little graphic and she told me so when she said excitedly, "Dat's Kate! Is dat my birday poddy?" I am so pleased to have had a proper graphic designer help us change the look of our website. Not only was Mandy easy to work with and patient with my never-ending questions but she is quite the talent, as well. She's even offering one of you the graphic below for you business or blog. Once a winner is chosen I will contact her and give her your details so she can customize the graphic with your information. Who wants it? Who needs? Who can't live without it? Tell me on the Facebook feed of this post and for the love of Buddha please leave your reason (in six words or less) and your email so I can send it to Mandy so she can get in touch with you. It was only a matter of time before the gourmet goods started coming in and given my weakness for anything sweet this is terrible news for me but great news for you. Fudge Face sent us some samples of their delectable fudge and while I, of course, had to sample it to ensure the integrity of this review, I will be giving the other samples away. I may have to do this quick, because I am having a hard time staring at the chocolately goodness sitting on my counter. This fudge is so smooth and decadent that you're going to need to find a quiet spot somewhere in your house so you don't have to share. Who needs a sweet treat? Preferably, it is someone who can come to my house right now and tear it out of my hands because things are getting serious over here and I can only hold out for so long. Bumblegum Years is a sweet printshop based in one of my favourite places in the world: Scotland! The kind owner sent us four prints to enjoy. The cute modern designs are perfect for a little one's bedroom. The little girl in pigtails, holding the balloons looks just like Miss Grace and I'll be framing it today and hanging it in her bedroom. She was so thrilled when I opened it today and she saw herself in cartoon form. I am pretty sure Kate will be all over the little tigers. Which do you like? You can check out more of these great prints at their Esty shop. You know at GoTeamKate we like to share our good fortune with the members of our team so please like and share this post on Facebook to be entered for a chance to win one of these unframed prints for your little one. Please remember to check back to the Facebook post to see if I've tagged you in the status asking for your home address. The only that thing that makes me happier than animals are baby animals. Photographer Suzi Eszterhas might have the best job in the world. She photographs wild baby animals and their mothers. You can browse more of her work at her Esty shop called "Wild Babies". This woman is an award winning wildlife photographer and I am sitting here with eight of her phenomenal 8 x 10 prints in hand. These prints are absolutely gorgeous and I cannot wait to have them framed and displayed in my home. I am thinking a set of four in sleek black frames directly over my bed so I can admire their beauty each night before bed. Or maybe in the living room so I can share with guests this talented photographers work. Even as I type this I am itching to get these to the frame shop and create my display. I think you know what I am going to say next. Who wants a set? You know the drill. Tell me in six words or less why you need these in your home. I will announce the winner on the Facebook link to this post. |
