When I went out and spent money I didn't have on a really nice DSLR I had visions of taking stunning photos like these. How many of do that, I wonder; decide we will become photographers and buy all the gear and then become sorely disappointed when our photos don't measure up. AL Photography is officially my absolute favorite photographer right now and this will really piss you off; she's self taught! Just look at these photographs. The deer print is my favorite. I adore it so much I am going to spend a bomb on a frame for it. And, when you come to my house you better comment on it! Now, not only do I have an extra 8X10 of the deer curiosities print, but I have multiple 5X7's of her other phenomenal photos to give away. Is there anyone out there that adores this photographer as much as I do? Like this post on Facebook for a chance to win or comment below.

Here is your serving of cute for the day. You're welcome. I am partial to the fox. He kills me. I bet some of you like the sloth best. Susan Windsor Fine Art is the artist and she must have so much fun painting these adorable little creatures. I got my hands on a couple of her newest prints and they are not even for sale in her shop yet. As much as my classroom needs them I will admit that your childrens' rooms might need them more. I will give you a hint as to which animals are in the giveaway prints. One would most certainly eat the other. These prints are 5X7 and you can be entered to win with a 'like' to this post on Facebook or a comment below. Good Luck. I chose gun metal grey because someone I admire told me that is a very hip color, right now. I also love how Cream Street Shop curated the photos of these shelves because I want mine to look just exactly like theirs. It's just occurred to me that I am not very original. Oh well, no matter. I have lovely things in my home either way. The color coordination and organization possibilities of these shelves are so appealing. I really don't think I can give them away. Well, you would definitely have to work hard to convince me. Would you treat them well? Would you promise to never add knick knacks or junk and only useful and aesthetically pleasing items on them? Fine, then you can like this post for a chance to win. Again with the jewelry. I guess you know where my heart lies. Lena Yastreb is a fine jeweler from the Ukraine. She's kind of gorgeous and super talented, too, so she's probably going to be alright but if you choose to patronize her shop you'll be impressed by her fine jewels that are made to order just for you. I will have the cat ring, next. That is for sure. Do you see that little family hanging from the wire? They are sitting on my end table right now looking for a new home. I would have greedily kept them for myself but they suit a family of three, as you can see. I am also in possession of the cat and mouse earrings and I might be convinced to let those go as well, if I can find someone that will appreciate them as I do. A 'like' will have you entered into the contest to win one or the other. Good Luck. 4Firefly Collections creates these jewels by hand. She doesn't source them and pretend they are unique to her; she puts hard word and all of her creative energy into making beautiful pieces of jewelry. I know you love jewels as much as I do and these are no exception. I am wearing mine now as I type and I can't stop staring at it. It's the rose quartz ring you see below. I chose it from all of her gems because I fell in love. And yes, before you stop reading you should know she sent me two. I could wear one on each hand and indulge but I suppose I will offer one to you. I am going to ask for a simple 'like' to be entered (or comment below). Good Luck! Side bar: 10% of the proceeds from her sales go to an animal charity. So I always have grand plans to make beautiful things like this but it simply never happens. I guess lately I consider myself lucky if I can make it out the door with matching shoes. ADDiOstudio has clearly got it figured out because no doubt she has just as many responsibilities as the rest of us and she can still create these beautiful magnetic painted canvas frames. You know how I know I love this? Because as soon as I opened it up I dropped everything and found a place to hang it immediately. I didn't wait for my husband to come home and hang it. I didn't set it aside until I had more time. I wanted that puppy up straight away and now I am going to spend the rest of my evening drinking wine from box and browsing photos for the perfect shots to place in the frames. Don't worry. You haven't been forgotten. Michelle would like to offer a 12x12 version for you. A simple like will do, or comment below to be entered into this contest. Would it be weird for me to enter? Kidding. Maybe. Did you know these things existed? So much wine lost so senselessly for so long and all the while Unique Solutionz had the answer. Many people have offered other solutions like grown-up sippy cups and mason jars with lids but I like my wine in a proper wine glass and anything else just isn't the same. The wine satchel is pretty great, too. I wonder if they make a thermal one? Wouldn't this be a great housewarming gift? Maybe I'll just keep a few in stock. As much as I'd like to have a second wine glass at the ready at all times I will share the second wine hook with one of you. All you need to do to have your name entered is comment your favourite type of wine below. Or if you don't indulge but would still like to win tell us what you would fill your class with. Divine Butterfly Sweet sent us a little of everything. So much, in fact that I have already spread the love. Guess who didn't get even one bite? The while thing is criminal, if you ask me. I will tell you that everyone that did have one or two or more bites of these decadent desserts was very impressed and wanted more. I almost felt it was a shame to eat such beautiful food.... almost. On the evening I went to the fridge to indulge in the small portion I had saved for myself my 'too kind for her own good (and mine)' daughter, Grace, begged me to give the delicious chocolate dipped pretzels to a classroom assistant at her school. How could I say no? Provided they did actually get delivered to the classroom assistant and Grace and her friends didn't laugh and laugh as they indulged at recess. No more boring pencils! The Carbon Crusader can add anything you like to your pencils but you won't need to waste time thinking up something clever because they already have so many awesome choices. I'd like to have these ones and these ones, too, but definitely not these ones because my students might not understand. I only wish I had been introduced to this shop earlier. I have a few sets of the pencils pictured here and I'd like to share with you. A simple 'like' will do, or comment below for a chance to win. There are decals and then there are decals. Guess which one of these bad boys says goodnight to Kate each night? I know some of your children might shudder at the thought of sleeping beneath this carniverous monster but Kate relishes in sleeping with her dinosaur whom she has named "necklace". We won't complain aout the name because words are not her preferred way of communicating so giving him a name at all is a huge accomplishment. Can I get an Amen? Now that Kate is happy, I have my eyes on a few other products from this shop, like this and this and hell I may even give this a go. What do you like? |
